UNICC is pleased to partner with African Union (AU), a body consisting of the 55 member states that make up the African continent. UNICC’s Business Relationship Manager for AU is Nuria Reques Waterink-de Waal.

The AU was officially launched in July 2002 and headquartered in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, following a decision in September 1999 by its predecessor, the Organization of African Unity (OAU), under the vision of “An Integrated, Prosperous and Peaceful Africa, driven by its own citizens and representing a dynamic force in the global arena.”
