Recruitment Profile
Purpose of the position:
The Risk Analyst shall be responsible for supporting the UNICC’s control environment by: (i) finding out the impact of risk with the help of analysis of historical data, (ii) Using the GRC tool to perform in-depth analysis of historical data to develop relevant reports, (iii) Analyzing and using data for continuous improvement and optimization of risk.
Organizational setting and reporting:
Interns work 5 days per week (37.5 hours) under the supervision of Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) Officer and will be provided guidance and support to perform the responsibilities mentioned below.

Support the:
- Identifying, measuring, managing, and reporting risks.
- Developing of processes to better evaluate business-specific risk
- Developing of tools to measure risk key performance indicators
- Perform in-depth analysis of historical data to develop relevant reports

Education:
To qualify for this internship, applicants must be currently enrolled in a university programme (final year of a master’s degree or equivalent) specializing in areas that are relevant to UNICC’s line of business such as Risk, Data analytics, and Compliance or must have graduated in the last 6 months.
Work Experience:
Applicants are not required to have professional work experience to participate in the UNICC’s internship program, but applicants should have the following functional and technical skills:
- Data analytics skills
- Data reporting skills
- Working knowledge of Risk Management
- Working knowledge of IT service delivery
- Working knowledge of navigating an IT application
- Excellent manners, good interpersonal skills, and ability to work with minimum supervision
Desirable:
- Working knowledge of governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) tools such as ServiceNow
- Understanding of business processes and internal control frameworks
Language:
- Fluency in English is required (verbal and written).
