The United Nations International Computing Centre (UNICC) is pleased to announce the launch of UNIQCloud, a state-of-the-art cloud solution designed for the UN system and other international organizations. This innovative service harnesses the advantages of private cloud computing to address sector-specific needs, providing a secure and trusted digital environment for partners and clients.
In a time when cloud computing is a cornerstone of digital transformation and innovation, it is imperative for UN organizations to continue strengthening cloud strategies to ensure maximum data protection and vendor independence. In alignment with its Strategic Framework 2024–2030, UNICC has developed a private cloud solution, building on its extensive experience providing cloud services and as the leading digital solutions and cybersecurity partner within the UN system.
UNIQCloud is designed to enhance and complement the diverse cloud models adopted by UN entities and international organizations, as well as support their business continuity strategies. It offers maximum protection, especially for the most sensitive data and digital assets, underpinned by best practices and the highest industry standards for cloud security. This solution also provides pricing stability and predictable terms governed by UNICC’s Management Committee, which approves the costs.
UNICC is in a position to provide managed or private cloud services for the sensitive portion of data and help partner organizations towards the implementation of cost-efficient hybrid solutions.
