Recruitment Profile
Purpose of the position:
UNICC is offering a great opportunity to acquire practical experience in and direct exposure to a whole range of HR Operations activities. The Operations team, within the broader HR Section (MSH) is mainly responsible for the recruitment and onboarding of staff, Interns, UNVs, and Individual Consultants across all 5 duty stations. The Operations team provides support to all employees during their whole employment lifecycle.
Main duties and responsibilities:
The intern will work under the overall guidance and direction of the Operations Team Leader working closely with all team members in the Human Resources Operations unit.
The responsibilities will include:
- Provide Support to the HR Operations team in drafting recruitment documents for staff, interns, and individual consultants
- Provide general office support services: draft, edit, proofread, and finalize for signature/approval a variety of correspondence and other communication
- Assist the operations team in performing a variety of administrative duties (teleworking requests, preparing Purchase Requests (PR) and Purchase Orders (PO) for Internships and Individual Consultants
- Review and maintaining up to date all staff personnel folders
- Provide assistance in delivering high quality HR services to clients
- Provide HR Operation Support, as and when required

Requirements – Education:
To qualify for this internship, applicants must be currently enrolled in a university programme (final year of a Bachelor’s/Master’s degree or equivalent) with one of the following specializations: Human Resources Management, Business Administration, Economics, Psychology, Communications, Political science, Linguistics or must have graduated in the last 6 months.
Requirements – Work Experience:
Applicants are not required to have professional work experience to participate in UNICC’s internships programme, but applicants should have the following functional and technical skills:
- Ability to use Microsoft office applications (Word, Excel)
- Good written and oral communications skills with ability to prepare technical documentation
- Excellent interactive and interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a multicultural environment
- Strong integrity and ethics
Language:
- Fluency in English is required (verbal and written)
- Intermediate knowledge of Spanish language is desirable
