Position Description

Purpose of the Position:
The Hyperautomation Solutions Unit Coordinator oversees the day-to-day operations and coordinates the work of the Hyperautomation Solutions Unit (DDHA) unit, which assists with the design, delivery and support of hyperautomation services and related solutions.
Objectives of the Programme:
The objective of the Centre is to provide trusted ICT services and digital business solutions to its Clients and Partner Organizations.
Main duties and responsibilities:
The incumbent will work under the direct supervision and guidance of the Head, Enterprise Solutions Section (DDE) within the Digital Delivery Division (DD) and will oversee the day-to-day operations and coordinate the work of the Hyperautomation Solutions Unit (DDHA). The incumbent could be requested to do any other tasks of similar level in related fields. The incumbent will perform the following tasks:
- In close collaboration with the Head, DDE, supervise the work of the technical teams and their Ensure that all staff coordination processes are adhered to, and regular communication and performance feedback is given to all staff
- Act as the practice lead for Robotic Process Automation (RPA) and related solutions
- Ensure that all processes operated by the unit are in line with agreed standards and that agreed metrics are in place and reported regularly and accurately
- Coordinate activities in relation to end-to-end design, build and run of UNICC’s hyperautomation Committee of Expertise (CoE), including but not limited to:
- Serving as the bridge between the hyperautomation CoE team, Delivery & Support functions and various business stakeholders
- Running and supervising the program management activities directly related to the hyperautomation CoE
- Participating in the review of any new features of the automation products and provide recommendations as required
- Participating in the evaluation and analysis of new solutions
- Lead and facilitate delivery of hyperautomation roadmaps, blueprints, deployment of solutions including support and maintenance
- Support team members in delivering Hyperautomation related projects within cost and time budgets
- Maintain strong relationships with clients, addressing their concerns and ensuring their satisfaction with UNICC hyperautomation services
- Maintain relationships with vendors and multiple business stakeholders
- Contribute to the design and development of hyperautomation strategies and enforce them for UNICC customers
- Facilitate the build of a team of hyperautomation technologists, to evolve as technical-functional SMEs
- Collect and share internally industry best practices. Continuously explore new tools, engage with product vendors on product roadmaps and Proofs of Concept (PoCs), and evaluate their technology’s relevance / effectiveness
- Assist in the hiring, onboarding, and training of new team members
- Conduct regular team meetings to discuss progress, challenges, and opportunities for improvement
Other: Provide other ad hoc support either within the team or in other teams as required – this includes the participation in special projects or support to service delivery for short period of time on a part-time or full time basis upon request from the senior management

Experience and Skills required:
Essential:
- Five (5) or more years of professional experience in delivering IT solutions, including experience in multi-cultural and global international environment
- Ability to plan and manage projects aligning business goals with technology solutions to drive process improvements, competitive advantage and bottom-line gains
- Practical experience managing multiple projects
- Experience in supervising geographically spread technical teams
- Five (5) or more years of professional experience in delivering IT solutions, including experience in multi-cultural and global international environment
- Ability to plan and manage projects aligning business goals with technology solutions to drive process improvements, competitive advantage and bottom-line gains
- Practical experience managing multiple projects
Desirable:
- Experience in Global Business Delivery & Roll-out, Program Management, Planning, & Technology Management with focus on Hyperautomation (RPA and associated technologies)
*Education:
Essential:
- First university degree in Computer Science or a related technical field
Desirable:
- Advanced university degree in Computer Science or a related technical field
- Certifications and advanced trainings in RPA platforms (e.g., UiPath, Automation Anywhere etc.)
- Agile Project Management related certifications
- ITIL Certification
Languages:
- English: Expert knowledge is required
- Knowledge of another UN official language will be an advantage

- Brindisi, (Italy) including post adjustment (18,3% on March 2025): US$ 83,060
- Valencia, (Spain) including post adjustment (26,2% on March 2025): US$ 88,607
